Google Sells Motorola To Lenovo - Duo A Winning Combination Says Lenovo CEO

Its official folks. Google has finally taken smartphone manufacturer Motorola off its paw and sold the visitor to the Chinese multinational Lenovo. The sale comes afterward Google and Motorola launched the much predictable five.9 inch, Snapdragon touting Nexus 6 just two weeks back.

Motorola will retain its brand epitome and products and will now operate every bit a subsidiary of the Chinese electronics giant in Chicago. Google has now sold off Motorola's handset business organization for $2.91 Billion to Lenovo. The sale however does not include the majority of Motorola patents, as almost of them are still owned by Google. Lenovo CEO Yang Yuanqing also believes that together, Motorola and Lenovo can at present offering the much needed contest to the other 'height two' in the smartphone manufacturing market place. Commenting on the outcome, Mr. Yuanqing said:
